Don't you love the quirky local news stories where you live?
Across the country, gun sales are surging as some gun enthusiasts are concerned President-elect Barack Obama may change gun laws.
Some are concerned Obama will implement tougher laws when he takes office. As a result, there's been an enormous surge in firearm sales in New Hampshire, and nationwide.
Throughout the election, Obama made clear his support for the 2nd Amendment but said there should be room for "common-sense, effective safety measures."

My ward did a bulk community order.
I've been hearing that on the news, too.
Crazy stuff.
b.--you totally cracked me up.
Ever since the election, we've had the NRA show up on our caller ID. EVERY. DARN. DAY. I can only imagine what they are going to say when I answer the phone to tell them to stop calling.
A) Why are they calling US?
and 2) Would everybody please stop panicking and predicting doom and gloom since Obama took office?
How many guns does one need? Are they perishable?
Yes.
I keep forgetting to take a picture of a pawn place near my work. "Buy your guns before the election, while you still can!"
I don't how I feel about the guys with the guns being the ones to panic.
p.s. b, NAH-UH!!!
No run on guns here. But perhaps there is a big surge on crossbows.
Could be some truth in there somewhere, but it gets squashed out at both extremes.
I hate to admit it, but I've heard this one pretty close to our home.
